Ingredients
- Firm Tofu
- White Cabbage
- Garlic, peeled
- Ginger
- Olive Oil
- Reduced Salt Soy Sauce
- Sesame Seeds
- Spring Onion
- Black Pepper, Ground
Instructions
- 1.Remove the tofu from its packaging and pat it dry thoroughly with paper towels. This helps it develop a golden crust while cooking.
- 2.Cut the tofu into evenly sized cubes.
- 3.Thinly slice the cabbage, mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- 4.Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 5.Add the tofu cubes in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes without moving them to allow one side to brown.
- 6.Carefully turn the tofu cubes and cook for another 2–3 minutes until lightly golden on most sides.
- 7.Add the garlic and ginger and stir gently for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 8.Add the sliced cabbage and toss everything together.
- 9.Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cabbage softens but still has a slight crunch.
- 10.Drizzle the soy sauce over the stir-fry and mix well so all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- 11.Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced spring onion before serving.
- 12.Serve immediately while hot.
