Instructions
- 1.Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them into 2–3 cm pieces. Cut the broccoli into small florets. Finely chop the brown onion, garlic and red chilli. Separate the Thai basil leaves from the stems. Cook the jasmine rice according to the packet instructions.
- 2.Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the finely chopped garlic and chilli and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3.Add the pork mince and break it apart with a wooden spoon. Stir-fry until browned and thoroughly cooked, with no pink remaining.
- 4.Add the finely chopped onion, green beans cut into 2–3 cm pieces and small broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Add a splash of water if needed to help the broccoli cook.
- 5.Add the oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, kecap manis, fish sauce and sugar. Stir well to coat the pork and vegetables evenly. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, adding the tablespoon of water if the mixture becomes too dry.
- 6.Turn off the heat and stir in the Thai basil leaves until just wilted. Serve immediately over the cooked jasmine rice.
