Ingredients

  • Raw Beef Rump Steak - lean
  • Purple Sweet Potato
  • Raw Broccoli
  • Olive Oil
  • Dijon Mustard
  • lemon juice
  • Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper, Ground

Instructions

  1. 1.Cut the sweet potato into small cubes so it cooks faster.
  2. 2.Place the sweet potato in a saucepan of boiling water and cook for approximately 10–12 minutes, or until soft.
  3. 3.Drain and roughly mash the sweet potato with a fork.
  4. 4.Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  5. 5.Heat half of the olive oil in a frying pan.
  6. 6.Cook the steak for approximately 3–4 minutes on each side, depending on its thickness and your preferred level of doneness.
  7. 7.Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  8. 8.Add the broccoli to the same pan with a small splash of water. Cover and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  9. 9.Mix the Dijon mustard and lemon juice together to make a simple sauce.
  10. 10.Serve the sliced steak with the sweet potato smash, broccoli and mustard-lemon sauce.
