Ingredients
- Haloumi Cheese
- Mixed Leaf Garden Salad
- Hass Avocado
- Cherry Tomato
- Raw Lebanese Cucumber - peeled
- Extra virgin oil
- lemon juice
- Sesame Seeds
- Fresh Mint
- Black Pepper, Ground
Instructions
- 1.Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. No oil is needed, as halloumi releases some of its own fat during cooking.
- 2.Cook the halloumi slices for 2–3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- 3.While the halloumi is cooking, arrange the salad leaves, avocado, cucumber and cherry tomatoes on a serving plate.
- 4.Whisk together the olive oil and lemon juice to make a simple dressing.
- 5.Place the warm halloumi on top of the salad.
- 6.Drizzle with the dressing.
- 7.Sprinkle with sesame seeds, fresh mint and a little black pepper.
- 8.Serve immediately while the halloumi is still warm.
