Ingredients
- School Prawn
- Cornflour - from maize starch
- Sesame Oil
- Soy Sauce
- Honey
- Cos Lettuce
- Tomato
Instructions
- 1.Pat the prawns dry with paper towel, then toss with cornflour until evenly coated.
- 2.Heat the sesame oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 3.Add the prawns and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
- 4.In a small cup, whisk together the soy sauce and honey.
- 5.Pour the honey-soy mixture over the prawns and toss for 30-60 seconds, until the sauce joins the shrimp.
- 6.Remove from the heat and serve warm, sprinkled with chilli flakes if desired.
- 7.To finish, serve with fresh salada lettuce and tomato.
