Ingredients

  • School Prawn
  • Cornflour - from maize starch
  • Sesame Oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Honey
  • Cos Lettuce
  • Tomato

Instructions

  1. 1.Pat the prawns dry with paper towel, then toss with cornflour until evenly coated.
  2. 2.Heat the sesame oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. 3.Add the prawns and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
  4. 4.In a small cup, whisk together the soy sauce and honey.
  5. 5.Pour the honey-soy mixture over the prawns and toss for 30-60 seconds, until the sauce joins the shrimp.
  6. 6.Remove from the heat and serve warm, sprinkled with chilli flakes if desired.
  7. 7.To finish, serve with fresh salada lettuce and tomato.
