- Polenta
- Water
- Parmesan Cheese Block
- Extra Lean Beef Mince
- Red Onion
- Garlic cloves
- Crushed tomatoes
- Olive Oil
- Dried Oregano
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper, Ground
Instructions
- 1.Bring the water to the boil, gradually whisk in the polenta and cook until smooth. Stir in the Parmesan.
- 2.Heat the olive oil and cook the onion until softened. Add the garlic and beef mince and cook until browned.
- 3.Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- 4.Spoon the creamy polenta into a bowl and top with the beef ragù.
- 5.Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh basil if desired, and serve.
