Ingredients
- Raw Chicken Breast
- White Cabbage
- Raw Carrot - peeled
- Garlic cloves
- Olive Oil
- Reduced Salt Soy Sauce
- Ginger
- Black Pepper, Ground
- Spring Onion
Instructions
- 1.Wash and prepare all the vegetables before you begin cooking. Thinly slice the cabbage, grate the carrot, mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- 2.Pat the chicken dry with paper towel and cut it into thin strips. Season lightly with black pepper.
- 3.Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 4.Add the garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring continuously so they become fragrant without burning.
- 5.Add the chicken strips in a single layer. Let them cook for about 2 minutes before stirring to help them brown.
- 6.Stir occasionally and cook for another 3–4 minutes until the chicken is completely cooked through and no longer pink.
- 7.Add the grated carrot and cook for 1 minute.
- 8.Add the sliced cabbage and stir continuously using tongs or a wooden spoon. The cabbage should soften while still keeping a slight crunch.
- 9.Pour over the soy sauce and mix well so everything is evenly coated.
- 10.Cook for another 2 minutes.
- 11.Sprinkle with sliced spring onion if desired and serve immediately.
