Ingredients

  • Raw Beef Rump Steak - lean
  • Zucchini
  • Raw Carrot - peeled
  • Sesame Oil
  • Garlic cloves
  • Ginger
  • Reduced Salt Soy Sauce
  • Honey
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Spring Onion

Instructions

  1. 1.In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey and grated ginger, then add the beef and let it marinate for 5 minutes.
  2. 2.Heat the sesame oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. 3.Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. 4.Add the beef and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned but still tender.
  5. 5.Stir in the carrot and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. 6.Add the zucchini and cook for another 3 minutes until just tender while stirring frequently.
  7. 7.Pour any remaining marinade into the pan and cook for 1 minute until lightly glazed.
  8. 8.Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onion, then serve immediately with steamed brown rice if desired.
