How do I delete my account?

Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in, food diary, targets and progress history, after a 7 day grace period to change your mind. Important: deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. Cancel it first in Manage subscription, or Apple will keep billing you after your account and data are gone.

How do I delete my account?

1. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of any tab.
2. Scroll to Help and legal.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type your account email to confirm. The confirm option stays inactive until it matches exactly.
5. Tap Permanently delete my account.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription too?

No, and this is easy to miss. Deleting your account and cancelling a subscription are two different things. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first using the Manage subscription option on the same screen, or Apple keeps charging you even after your Platify account and data are gone.

Can I change my mind?

Yes, for 7 days. Deleting doesn't happen straight away: it starts a 7 day grace period. During that time you can tap Keep my account on the same screen, or just sign back in as normal, and the deletion is cancelled automatically.

What gets deleted, and when?

Once the 7 day grace period ends, your sign-in, food diary, targets and progress history are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone after that point, so make sure you're ready before the window closes.
