Logging food

How do I log a meal in Platify?

By the Platify team

To log a meal, open the logger from your Diary tab and search for a food, or leave the search empty to see your recently logged foods. Tap a result to set its quantity, and it's added to your Plate. Stage as many foods as you're eating, then tap Log to save them all to your diary in one go. Logging is available on the free plan.

How do I find a food?

Type into the search bar. Results rank as you type, and your recently logged and frequent foods show up first when the search is empty, so common meals are usually a tap away.

What is the Plate?

The Plate is where foods wait before they're saved. Tap a search result, set how much you're having, and it lands on the Plate. Add as many items as you like before committing anything to your diary.

Can I log a saved meal instead?

Yes. The Meals door next to search opens your saved meals, so you can log a whole meal in one tap instead of searching for each food separately.

Do I need Premium to log food?

No. Logging food in your diary is available to every member, free or Premium.

Frequently asked

What if I can't find a food?

Scan the nutrition label instead, or type the food in manually. See Scanning your food for how the label scan works.

Can I log more than one food at once?

Yes. Stage every food you're eating on the Plate first, then tap Log once to save them all together.
