Troubleshooting
Purchase made but Premium locked?
By the Platify team
That's frustrating, especially when you've already paid. It's almost always fixable. Tap "Restore purchases" in your Profile to reconnect your purchase, give it a moment to refresh, and Premium unlocks. If it's still locked after that, contact us and we'll sort it out.
What should I do if Premium is still locked after paying?
- Tap "Restore purchases." Open Profile, then Subscription, then tap "Restore purchases." This reconnects your account to the purchase you already made, without charging you again.
- Give it a moment to refresh. Platify re-checks your entitlement when the app comes back to the foreground, for example switching to another app and back, or closing and reopening Platify.
- Understand why this happens. If Platify can't confirm your purchase for a moment, it shows the free view rather than guessing that you're Premium. That's a deliberate safety choice, and it clears itself once your purchase is confirmed.
- Still locked? Contact us. If restoring purchases and a refresh don't fix it, contact us with the account you purchased with and we'll check it from our side.
Does this happen on a new phone or after reinstalling?
Yes, this is the most common cause. A new device or a fresh install doesn't automatically know about a purchase made elsewhere. Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you originally purchased with, then tap "Restore purchases" to reconnect it.
Frequently asked
Will restoring purchases charge me again?
No. Restoring purchases reconnects your account to a purchase you already made. It never creates a new charge.
Why did Platify lock Premium if I already paid?
Usually it just hasn't confirmed your purchase yet. Platify shows the free view until it can confirm Premium, which is the safer direction, then unlocks automatically once confirmed.
