How does the free trial work?

By the Platify team

Platify's paid plans include a free trial before you're charged: 7 days on the weekly plan, 30 days on the annual plan. You can cancel any time during the trial and pay nothing. If you don't cancel, Apple charges your usual payment method automatically when the trial ends, and your subscription simply continues.

How long is the free trial?

It depends on the plan you choose. The weekly plan starts with a 7 day free trial. The annual plan starts with a 30 day (1 month) free trial. The exact length is always shown on the purchase screen before you buy, alongside the price.

What happens when the trial ends?

If you haven't cancelled, Apple charges your usual payment method automatically for the plan you chose, and your subscription continues without any action needed from you. Your Premium features keep working the same way they did during the trial.

Will I be reminded before I'm charged?

Yes. Platify schedules a reminder notification on your device 2 days before your trial ends and you're charged, so you have time to decide whether to keep going or cancel.

Can I get a free trial again if I already used one?

Not on the same plan. Apple only offers a free trial the first time you try a particular plan. If you've already used a trial on that plan before, you're charged as soon as you subscribe again instead.

Frequently asked

Do I need to enter payment details to start a trial?

Yes. Apple requires payment details up front for a free trial, but nothing is charged until the trial ends, unless it's cancelled first.

Will I get a free trial every time I subscribe?

No. Apple only offers a free trial the first time for a given plan. If a trial has already been used on that plan, the charge happens straight away instead.
