Ingredients
- pea protein powder
- Cornflour - from maize starch
- Olive Oil
- Tomato Sauce
- Dried Oregano
- Garlic, peeled
- Sea Salt
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan-forced) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 2.In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pea protein, cornflour - from maize starch, dried oregano, and salt until well combined.
- 3.Add the tinned tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil to the dry mix. Stir for 1-2 minutes until a thick, pliable dough forms.
- 4.Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each into a ball, then flatten into small discs (approx. 1cm thick) on the prepared baking tray.
- 5.Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the bites are firm to the touch.
- 6.Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the tray for 2-3 minutes to allow the exterior to crisp up before serving.
