Ingredients

  • Raw Pork Fillet
  • Reduced Salt Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Honey
  • Garlic cloves
  • Ginger
  • Red Onion
  • Raw Carrot - peeled
  • Spring Onion
  • Uncooked Brown Rice
  • Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1.In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. 2.Add the pork and mix well to coat.
  3. 3.Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. 4.While the pork is marinating, prepare the vegetables.
  5. 5.Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. 6.Add the pork together with the marinade.
  7. 7.Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  8. 8.Add the onion and carrot.
  9. 9.Continue cooking for another 3–4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.
  10. 10.Remove from the heat.
  11. 11.Spoon the brown rice into a serving bowl and top with the pork mixture.
  12. 12.Garnish with sliced spring onion and toasted sesame seeds.
