Ingredients
- Extra Lean Beef Mince
- Egg
- Rustic sourdough
- Raw Sweet Potato - unpeeled
- Barbecue Sauce Reduced Sugar
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- 1.Peel the sweet potato and cut into thin 1 cm batons to make fries.
- 2.Toss the sweet potato fries in half the olive oil and air fry at 200 °C for 15 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- 3.Season the lean beef mince with salt and pepper, then shape into a flat patty.
- 4.Heat the remaining olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the beef patty for 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- 5.In the same pan, crack the egg and fry for 2–3 minutes, until the white is set but the yolk remains runny.
- 6.Toast the rustic sourdough slices. Assemble the burger by layering one slice of sourdough with the beef patty, fried egg, and barbecue sauce, then top with the remaining slice of sourdough.
- 7.Serve the burger immediately with the sweet potato fries on the side.
